Our client, a Cape Town based Wind Developer, has a current opportunity for a
Project Analyst on a permanent basis.

The position will be based in Cape Town.

Job Purpose

  • Reporting to the Project Support Office Manager, the
    Project Analyst is responsible to maintain project management systems as well as perform portfolio and project analysis to provide critical data with which to prepare for and manage projects, improve processes, reduce costs and risks, and to collectively ensure overall successful project delivery
Objectives
-
Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management Support

  • Ensure the integrity and quality of schedules are of a professional standard
  • Conduct quality assurance health checks on project schedules
  • Support the Project Managers with cost estimations
  • Conduct and advise enterprise resource planning of human capital
  • Develop and produce enterprise portfolio reporting
  • Support and produce project performance reporting
  • Create, maintain, and produce Power Bi dashboards
  • Adjudicate construction progress and status
  • 1st line adjudication of extensions of time claims
  • Support the claims management process
  • Maintain RAID Logs (Risks, Actions, Issues and Decisions) and delays log
  • Create and manage Project Online web pages through Sharepoint
  • Manage the interfaces between Microsoft MS Project Professional Desk Client and Project Online
  • Maintain enterprise custom fields
  • Administer Microsoft MS Project online in its entirety
  • Support the installation of an effective planning culture

Assessments and Analysis

  • Conduct research, collect, and analyse data
  • Perform portfolio and project analysis including capacity requirements and performance
  • Support and report portfolio risk analysis
  • Perform Time Impact Assessments
Qualification

  • Project Management, or relevant Engineering/Environmental Degree
  • Recognised Certifications in Project Management sphere (CCP-AACE, PSP-PMI) advantageous

  • Certificate
Experience

  • 3+ Years' relevant working experience with enterprise resource planning, development of renewable energy projects >1MW (REI4P, private PPAs or C&I), performance and reporting, and administering MS Project Online
