The Global Payroll Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring precise and timely completion of all payrolls and supervises the payroll teams for the US, EMEA, and APAC.

Key responsibilities involve overseeing all aspects of payroll administration, from preparation and documentation to payroll disbursement and taxes. This position entails close collaboration with various payroll vendors to meet payroll deadlines, ensure service quality, comply with statutory regulations, and enhance operational efficiency.

The role reports directly to the Director of Finance Operations.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage and supervise the complete payroll function from start to finish
  • Oversee all facets of the global payroll operation
  • Implement, assess, and refine payroll processing systems to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, deductions, taxes, and garnishments
  • Collaborate with Finance and HR teams to ensure smooth operation of the payroll function
  • Supervise the reporting from HRIS and payroll systems to maintain consistency among systems and source records
  • Direct day-to-day operations of the payroll team
  • Enhance existing payroll operations and streamline processes for consistency, accuracy, and top-notch services
  • Address and promptly resolve issues raised by external stakeholders
  • Liaise with payroll provider and tax advisors as needed
  • Stay updated on regulations and labor laws affecting payroll processes to ensure compliance with all payroll tax jurisdictions
  • Ensure payroll practices adhere to statutory requirements and provide guidance on payroll matters to divisions and departments
  • Process all annual tax certificates
  • Collaborate with external auditors for audits and other payroll-related inquiries
  • Prepare reports summarizing payroll-related expenditures
  • Assist in selecting and implementing third-party payroll processors
  • Manage complete accounting functions related to payroll on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Reconcile and process funds for pension and medical providers
  • Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Deliver quality customer service by processing payroll accurately and promptly

Does this sound like you?:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-state payroll in public and private company settings; preference for international payroll and system implementation experience (ADP/Ramco)
  • Proficient in Payroll Tax Laws and Regulations
  • CPP or equivalent certification preferred
  • Proficiency in payroll processes
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, conditional formatting, IF and other formulas
  • Self-motivated individual who excels under pressure with a positive, service-oriented mindset
