    Description

    Our client based in Cape Town, Bellville is seeking to employ an In-house Legal Advisor.

    The successful legal professional will be supporting the Directors.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Company secretarial or general administrative support;
    -Resolutions.
    -Minutes and actions for Board and Exco meetings.
    -All related Corporate Governance matters.

    • Reviewing and drafting contracts.

    • Day-to-day contract management assistance and advice, including Funding and Franchisor agreements.

    • Management of Lease Agreements.

    • Management of Insurance Claims via broker.

    • Any other duties, as assigned by the Directors, in line with the role.

    Skills:

    • High attention to detail.

    • A passion for and understanding of commercial law.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Able to handle multiple projects, prioritise work and work effectively with limited supervision.

    • Able to work under pressure and deliver within timeframes.

    • Good project management skills.

    • Excellent negotiation skills.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum BCom Law degree.

    • LLB degree will be advantageous.

    • 5 years' experience.

    • Commercial background.
