Introduction
Our Client, based in Goodwood Cape Town, is looking for a Warehouse and Transport Supervisor to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities
Efficient management of operations to ensure that the operational process and procedures are managed.

Manage and lead a team of supervisors and drivers to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and make necessary adjustments to meet business goals.

Manage inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely delivery.

Manage customer relationships and address any concerns or issues.

Develop and implement safety procedures to ensure compliance with local and national regulations.

Analyze data and provide regular reports to senior management.

Effective load planning.

Coordinate and execute load instructions.

Prepare full handover report to dayshift/nightshift team.

Identify and report problem areas.

Manage clocking times and overtime daily, to ensure clocking accuracy and eliminate excess overtime.

Able to manage a medium sized multicultural team and demonstrating a high degree of cultural sensitivity.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric (Degree / Diploma in Logistics or related field would be beneficial)

At least 5 years working experience in logistics and 3 years in a supervisory role.

Reporting and effective communication

Experience creating reports on excel.

Knowledge of vehicle loading, staff management & planning

Experience managing a team and driving operational improvements.

Experience working on a LMS.
