Description
Management of Quality Controller Team.

  • Ensure 100% hygiene compliance for the entire unit
  • Ensure full preparation and presence for internal audits
  • Ensure that all supplier audits are done timeously
  • Ensure that the relevant Toolbox Talks are conducted
  • Ensure effective Customer complaint investigation and response.
  • Maintain quality manual and update where necessary.
  • Lead ISO 9001, 22000, certification process.
  • Deal with any quality, food safety and hygiene related nonconformances.
  • Compile and followup on supplier complaints.
  • Monitoring of FIFO&FEFO practices and monitoring of expired stock.
  • Oversee all quality checks (Supplier product analysis, fridge checks, specification adherence checks, portion controls, traceability mock recall, etc.)
  • Oversee all food safety and hygiene practices, as well as the efficiency thereof through micro sampling.
  • Oversee all CCP and CP procedures and documentation as well as HACCP electronic processes and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain glass and foreign object control.
  • Maintain proper segregation of Halaal, Kosher and Western staff and equipment.
  • Preparation of staff roster (QC) and duties.
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, HACCP principles, Occupational Health and Safety principles, Environmental and other regulations.
  • Participate in the daily operations briefing.
  • Monitor overall compliance to HACCP system, QMS and HSE requirements update all information
  • Undertake planned, quality and HACCP, HSE routine audits
  • Regular and timely review of HACCP system and procedures.
  • Full internal and external audit preparation and planning
  • Arrange Management review meeting on HACCP, Quality Management systems review.
  • Report monthly results achieved for the Food Safety and Health and Safety key indicators.
  • Must conduct regular meetings with your team and oversee the progress of KPIs and other Quality Indicators;
  • Must prepare audit reports for every external audits within 48 hours.
  • Must actively participate in maintaining the ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 procedures.
  • Ensure that Micro swabbing and sampling is done.
  • Must be fully aware of Allergen identification.
  • Ensure that all allergen's are declared accordingly.
  • Any other reasonable task that may be required by management.

Qualifications:


  • Grade 1
  • B Degree in Food Technology
  • Certification in ISO9001&22000
  • HACCP Knowledge
  • Full Competent in Microsoft Office
Experience

  • 5 Years' Experience
  • Experience in the Food Industry will be an advantage
