Our client specializing in earthmoving equipment is looking for a diligent individual who is willing to grow with their company

Main Responsibilities

Will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daytoday operations of our welding shop, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
Management of a team of welders, organizing workflow, and maintaining a productive and collaborative work environment.
Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and timelines
Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines
Monitor progress and address any issues that may arise during the welding process
Enforce strict quality control measures to ensure the highest welding standards are met.
Conduct regular inspections of completed work to identify and rectify any defects.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
Oversee the maintenance and calibration of welding equipment
Coordinate with the maintenance team to address equipment issues promptly.
Monitor and manage inventory of welding consumables and tools.
Maintain accurate records of completed projects, work hours, and materials used
Generate reports on team performance, project status, and any relevant metrics.
Communicate effectively with management regarding progress, challenges, and solutions.

Additional Specifications

Must have experience on the repair of Heavy Earthmoving Equipment and Buckets.
Ability to perform Aluminium and Tig Welding.
Must be able to draft and read drawings.
Knowledge of a variety of suppliers.

Essential Requirements

Qualification : Relevant Welding Qualification (Red Seal)
Experience : Relevant practical position experience as a Welding Supervisor or similar leadership role
Strong knowledge of welding processes, techniques and equipment

**Salary R R CTC per month depending on experience
