Description
RPO Recruitment's client is seeking an experienced Production Manager to help oversee the production of various projects.

As a Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's food production processes and maintaining high quality standards.

You will be responsible for overseeing the production line, managing a team of production staff, and implementing process improvements.

In this engaging role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement production schedules, ensure optimal efficiency, and meet customer demands.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes to increase productivity and reduce waste.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain Production output for all departments within Minisubs Factory, i.e. Primary, Wiring, Assembly
  • Maintain safety standards/ SHE Management System
  • Adhere to quality requirements of the product
  • Ensure departmental training needs are met
  • Maintain Shop floor discipline
  • Maintain recovery and efficiency

Requirements:


  • Grade 1
  • Diploma Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Production Management
  • Minimum 3 years successful Supervisory experience
  • Sound knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (AS400, Syspro)
  • Must have good communication
  • Computer skills
  • Well versed in Excel and Powerpoint
