Description

Our client, a leading company in the Plastics industry is looking for an Injection Moulding Setter (Large) to join their team based in Parow Industria, Cape Town.

Responsibilities
Plastic injection moulding (crates).
Responsible for mould changes and axillary equipment.
Knowledge of the injection moulding process.
Knowledge of the properties of different types of materials.
Cleans mould after each production run.
Optimise machine setting process.
Minimise scrap output with a high output target in Quality Control.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in machine setting, basic mould maintenance and running chillers.
The machine has a 1000-ton clamping force.
Preferred experience with Negri Bossi.
Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Machine Setter in the Plastics industry.
Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
