Requirements:


  • Master's degree in Public Administration, Management, Municipal Administration, Development Management or any other relevant Masters qualification
  • Junior degree must be in the same discipline.
  • Three (3) years' teaching experience at a tertiary institution or five (5) years' professional experience in the relevant field.
  • Progress towards PhD studies is an added advantage.

Duties:


  • Ensure that program taught comply with required academic and other standards by compiling lecture notes, study guides, blended teaching and learning.
  • Teaching, supervision and cosupervision of post graduate students.
  • Spearhead internal and external funded research projects in the Institute.
  • Participate in University's outreach community engagement program
  • Teaching modules in the department which include amongst others, Public Policy Making, Financial Management, Municipal Administration, Public Personnel Management, Development Theories, Public Ethics and Accountability
