Handy BeBee Icons
On beBee there are plenty of useful icons, giving quick access to useful information, or allowing instant shortcuts to other pages. I find the following icons listed below handy; most are embedded in the paragraph title, and at the end of the paragraph there is a short instruction in brackets.
Feeds on the BeBee main page are becoming ever faster. I often go to Producer at the top of the screen. There are the most recent posts, with new people to follow and new hives to be part of. I count on average twenty English posts per day. I regularly find new writers and interesting posts. (Click on the Producer icon at the top of the homepage.)
BeBee is diversified in its membership and I love this global village. Often though, I look for NewBees from South Africa. Today there are 860, it feels like yesterday when SA Bees broke the 500 mark. You can filter for most recently joined, and see who is new from your home country. (Click on the link above, and follow the drop down menus)
I am not looking for a new job. What a surprise though when I clicked on the Job icon out of curiosity the other day and found no less than 140 local job adverts, all tailored to my beBee profile. I expect the job search and recruitment functions of beBee to become one of its most popular features. (Click Jobs on the homepage.)
Your CV in Instant Hard Copy
You have filled in your profile on beBee, yes? Now, you can instantly download it as a hard copy CV, to use for whatever purpose you want. (Go to your profile page and click on the CV icon just below your name and photograph. Your profile then gets downloaded as a CV in a PDF file).
Click on this to find the real BeBee icons. A large digest of buzzes written by bees. Would you believe that Fernando 🐝 Santa Isabel Llanos has produced 1600 buzzes! Many authors have more than 100 buzzes. The Authors section is an archive of people active on beBee with buzzes aplenty. (Click on Producer, then click on Bees at the top of the screen.)
More than someone’s Profile, what they write shows who he or she really is. Click on the personal blog of a Bee and read three or four posts, which should not take more than ten minutes. The blog link above is that of Kevin Pashuk , a blogger I highly recommend. (Click on a profile of someone; the link to their blogs is below their photo.)
What did he say?
Often I read a comment which relates to a previous one far down the feed. Instead of scrolling all the way down the feeds, with a PC mouse you can immediately read the related comment. (Hover your mouse over the comment number at the top left of the comment box, eg #23, to read the comment to which the reply is made).
Ever had a look at statistics of the relevants and views on your posts? BeBee stores the statistics and comments on each and every Producer post, nicely summarized under one tab. You may be interested to see how it all stacks up, or is that statistic up? (Click on the link, and follow the drop down menu in the right hand corner)
My favorite icon is the little orange one on my screen bookmarks. Regularly, very regularly, well sometimes compulsively, I click on it to open up the BeBee homepage. Every day there are people to engage with. Every day there is something to new to read, something to take in and learn, and something to share.
And isn’t the BeBee icon iconic?

I am not sure how you are looking at the stats icon - if I click on Producer, then in the right (not left) corner is a drop down menu. One of the tabs in the menu says "Stats". Hope this clarifies. Thank you Fatima.
