Bees on Blogging

On BeBee I have learned more than anywhere else about blogging and writing on social media. I thought to make a collation of a few posts on elements of blogging which you might find interesting. The content below makes for a good deal of reading time so take it slowly. Select one, two or more posts to read. I hope it inspires you.

Dr. Ali Anani tells in his beautiful eloquent way how to write without fear in The Spontaneous Writer

Jim Murray provides sage know-how and experience on How to Become a World Class Blogger Like Me

David Grinberg sets out in a detailed expository How and Why to Spread Your BeBee Blogging Buzz

Gert Scholtz (that's me!) compiled a selection of quirks and remarks in Writs on Writing

Proma Nautiyal gives sound advice on how to find your audience in Don't Just Blog, be (Bee) Heard

Randall Burns, burns with his unique enthusiasm, wit and originality in Why I Write

Gert Scholtz (me again) scouted the web for blogging aids in Blogging on BeBee - A Few Useful Tools

Savvy Raj flows and sways and steps and dances in her post on Writing as I Know It

Graham Edwards tells of his progress as blogger in Stop and Look at How Far You've Come

Lada Prkic says it all in her charming and concise way in The Writer in Me Just Woke Up!

Blogging can take many forms. Some are personal stories. Some are picturesque. Others are opinion pieces. Some relate to business matters. Others are travelogues. Many display unique skills and knowledge. Some are serious. Others are lighthearted. Many are revealing.

I consider the most essential element of a post that it be honest. Your unique views, emotions, interests and awareness makes for authentic blogging and is in itself the best experience of writing.

Write about what you think. Write what interests you. Write what you care.

Write about what you know. Write what inspires you.

Write about you.

Gert, thank you for including my first attempt at blogging in your list. Since then (almost two years), I re-read my post "The Writer in Me Just Woke Up!" many times and always felt the same, proud of myself to manage to skip obstacles and start writing. Blogging became my newly discovered passion although I rarely post because of other priorities in my life. Being on beBee, I have learned more than anywhere else about blogging and writing on social media, just like you. In fact, after joining beBee, I found the courage for trying my hand at writing. Though not always wrote about me directly I see myself behind words in my every post. I also see it in posts of many others. It is something that makes us authentic. Gert, you continue to amaze me with your way of being social on social media. :)
