PURPOSE OF POSITION

  • The purpose of this External Technical Sales Consultant position is to increase revenue through effective sales strategies and managing client relationships in a given region of Gauteng. In addition, it is to constantly grow the client base._

KEY TASKS

SALES

  • Present and sell company products to current and potential clients
  • Identify and contact new clients
  • Achieving budget and targets
  • Identify and resolve client concerns and provide exceptional customer service
  • Increase market share and wallet share
  • Provide quotations of existing and new products when required
  • Present new products to customer
  • Attend weekly sales meeting

STOCK

  • Check inventory to ensure product ordered is in stock
  • Liaise with admin on stock pricing for quoting
  • If there's no inventory in branch, check other branches for stock.
  • Follow up with relevant supplier to ensure delivery of products timeously
  • Assist with monthly stock take for region
  • Check customers stock levels, ordering frequency, types of product ordered.

ADMIN

  • Resolving customer queries
  • Preparing, issuing and following up of quotes
  • Prepare invoice and ensure process for placing orders is followed (storeroom, dispatch, logistics)
  • Liaising with Finance team to ensure all client accounts are up to date and following up with client
  • Client communication - price increases etc
  • Prepare week/month in a glance report and submit to manager every Friday

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
Up to R23,000.00 per month
