Are you passionate about creating and maintaining a healthy work environment? We're looking for a highly responsible and morally sound individual to join our Cape Town Team as a People Advisor in Webhelp's HR department.


As a key member of the People Advisory team, and the first point of contact, you'll be offering HR related support, guidance, interpretation advice, and assistance with case management and issue resolution to line managers across Webhelp UK, SA and India.

What you'll be doing

  • Contributing to the People Advisory Services Team and wider People Service by completing a range of peoplerelated advisory tasks and processes covering the employment lifecycle
  • Coach, counsel, guide and support Line Managers with regards to Webhelp UK, SA and India HR Policy queries, ensuring a consistent approach and considering current case law developments
  • Ensuring all Employee Relations cases are managed to a high standard and are closed off within the Service Level Agreement timeframe
  • Identifying potential issues and problems and escalate to the Senior People Advisors or People Advisory Services Manager as they arise
  • Ensuring that People Advisory Services Team activities are accurately documented in user guides, administration guides and flowcharts
  • Maintaining data tracking logs for metrics production and compliance reporting
  • Working with the People Advisory Team to develop and promote feedback mechanisms for Line Managers to influence the continuous improvement of people services and processes
  • Identifying and implement opportunities for process improvement to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness
  • Providing support as required across the wider People Team in support of the People Plan and projects, participating in functional and crossfunctional initiatives as appropriate
  • Ensuring agreed KPI's and SLA's are met in an efficient and timely manner, identifying early interventions and taking remedial action as appropriate
  • Supporting the ongoing process of building and developing a comprehensive suite of management information, using the data to identify and analyse trends and making recommendations for resolution and interventions.

What you'll need

  • Relevant HR Qualifications (Advantageous)
  • BPO experience
  • Proven track record of HR operations and administration (Essential)
  • Sound general knowledge of current and forthcoming employment law, case law and best practice (Essential)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Essential)
  • Excellent problemsolving skills (Essential)
  • Ability to respond to a high volume of queries, ensuring a high attention to detail, consistency and accuracy (Essential) Contribute to the People Advisory Services Team and wider People Service by completing a range of peoplerelated advisory tasks and processes covering the employment lifecycle
