Description

PURPOSE

The position exists to ensure that all Front-End Loader Operating task based on loading, handling of all equipment is done safely and efficiently.

This role requires a lot of complex and specialized lifting skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain good house keeping.

Responsible for the safe operation of the Front-End Loader

Attend pre-shift meetings

Report unsafe conditions and behaviour

Inspect equipment in the working area

Engage post as a scheduled shift worker until relieved by the next shift worker or as arranged by shift supervisor

Take instructions from a shift supervisor, process manager and safety officer on given circumstances

Adhere to health, safety, environment and production

Act responsibly in carrying out their job as a competent person

QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 10

Code 10 (C1) driver's license

Front End Loader Valid License

Front End Loader Training Certificate

EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years' experience in mining or construction and related to crane driving.

SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES
Good communication skills (verbal & written).

Physically fit to do the work.

Emotional intelligence

Listening skills

Visibility on site

GENERAL REQUIREMENT
Fitness certification.
