    Description

    We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Mechanics to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they are safe and roadworthy. If you're a qualified mechanic with a strong work ethic and a passion for automotive repair, we want to hear from you

    Tasks

    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections, according to manufacturer guidelines
    • Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools and computerized systems
    • Repair and replace defective parts/components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
    • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements
    • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and accurately, following safety protocols and quality standards
    • Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance activities performed on each vehicle
    • Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper functioning
    • Collaborate with other team members to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
    • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology

    Requirements

    • Trade certificate or equivalent qualification in automotive mechanics
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a mechanic in a professional automotive repair environment
    • Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and computerized systems
    • Thorough knowledge of automotive systems and components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
    • Ability to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and specifications
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
