    Job Title: Injection Moulding Operations Supervisor

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Operations Supervisor to lead and supervise a team of operators and technicians, ensuring optimal workflow and productivity in our injection moulding operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and supervise a team of operators and technicians to ensure optimal workflow and productivity
    • Provide training and mentorship to staff to enhance skill development and operational efficiency
    • Monitor team performance, conduct performance appraisals, and address any staff concerns
    • Set up, start, and operate various types of injection moulding machines to ensure proper operation and output
    • Troubleshoot and adjust machine settings to maintain high-quality standards and prevent production downtime
    • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of machinery and work areas
    • Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet daily and weekly targets
    • Ensure efficient use of materials and minimize waste
    • Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and material usage
    • Inspect and ensure finished products meet quality specifications and standards
    • Collaborate with the quality control team to identify and resolve quality issues
    • Promote and maintain a safe working environment in line with company policies and safety regulations

    Requirements:

    • Matric with a relevant technical qualification, additional certification in polymer science or manufacturing is a plus
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in injection moulding operations, including setting and operating machines
    • Technical proficiency in various types of injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment
    • Familiarity with mould maintenance and basic mechanical repairs
    • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma is advantageous

    Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum
