    Description
    • Identifying opportunities for new services/products.
    • Developing and implementing strategies for relevant portfolio growth.
    • Develop continuous improvement practices to ensure accuracy and efficiency of processes
    • Writing marketing requirements documents (MRDs) and product requirement documents (PRDs)
    • Managing the entire lifecycle of services/products from ideation to retirement.
    • Implementing effective product launch strategies.
    • Planning for product enhancements and updates.
    • Co-ordinate trial/project processes in newly identified areas to ensure successful delivery of required trial outcomes and change management
    • Working with Research & Development and other technical departments to finalise product and functional specifications
    • Contribute to user requirement specifications on Product, equipment and applications
    • Prescribing optimal revenue and profitability targets to the sales force.
    • Monitoring and controlling costs associated with portfolio management.
    • Maximising the return on investment for each service/product.
    • Providing relevant product, equipment and spares pricing within quotations to customers if required
    • Manage budget allocation for portfolio initiatives.
    • Monitor and control costs within the assigned portfolio.
    • Conducting market research to understand industry trends.
    • Analysing competitive landscapes and positioning the portfolio accordingly.
    • Identifying initiatives to support target markets and customer segments.
    • Engage directly with customers to gather feedback.
    • Resolve operational issues and address customer concerns.
    • Implementing improvements based on customer feedback.
    • Identify and address operational risks associated with the portfolio.
    • Implement contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
    • Monitoring external factors that may impact the portfolio.
    • Comply with governance and established policies, systems, procedures and practices
    • Comply with Safety, Health and Environment standards
    • Collaborating with sales, marketing, operations, and other departments.
    • Ensuring effective communication and coordination within AECI Mining.
    • Facilitating teamwork to achieve portfolio objectives.
    • Running alpha/beta programs and capturing early customer feedback
    • Co-ordinate product training/support within deployed regions/subsidiaries
    • Participate in Risk assessments on any new ideas and or hazardous operations
    • Product consultations and investigations
    • Product Application knowledge and support (Package Explosives, Bulk Explosives, Boosters and Initiating Systems)
    • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams within the portfolio.
    • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
