- Use the underwriting system (DYS) to enter and clear submissions including entry of
- Compile, sort and verify information received for completeness
- Work alongside clients to collect missing data required to process the RFP and/or
- Monitor submission status and follow-up on outstanding documents to finalize
- Collaborate with key partners including, but not limited to, Underwriting, Sales,
- Prepare the file used in policy construction and follow up with brokers and/or
- Identify all required forms and materials related to policy issuance; prepare policy
- Assists in handling various requests/inquiries from brokers and/or underwriters to
- Assists in preparing activity logs that track steps leading up to policy issuance and
- Handle pre-renewal activity to include preparing & mailing renewal letters.
- Two or more years of experience in medical stop loss underwriting preferred
- Solid technical understanding of medical stop loss underwriting support function
- Strong mathematical, analytical, communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Highly detailed oriented
- Able to multi-task, prioritize and complete assignments/tasks timely
- Proficient with the David Young System
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
