    Job Overview

    Pillango-Placements is a pioneering company that is revolutionizing the infrastructure landscape by developing and commercializing innovative renewable energy solutions, enhancing agricultural infrastructure, and advancing telecommunications.

    Main Responsibilities

    This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes, focusing on day-to-day management while contributing to broader financial strategies.

    • Manage daily financial operations, overseeing creditors, debtors, tax, and cash flow to maintain optimal financial health.
    • Lead a team of 8 finance professionals, providing guidance and support in their respective areas of expertise.
    • Conduct thorough financial reporting and prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Implement rigorous budgeting processes and financial planning to support project feasibility and overall corporate strategy.
    • Play a key role in strategic financial decisions, including capital raising and asset management, ensuring alignment with long-term goals.
    • Maintain compliance with financial regulations and standards, particularly relevant to listed companies, ensuring transparency and accountability in all financial disclosures.

    Requirements

    • Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent, within 2 years post-articles.
    • Proven experience in financial management, particularly within infrastructure, renewable energy, agriculture, or telecommunications sectors.
    • Strong expertise in asset management, capital raising, and financial strategy.
    • Excellent leadership skills with experience managing a team.
    • Demonstrated ability in building relationships with venture capital firms and managing complex financial projects.
    • Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a forward-looking approach to financial planning and risk management.
    • Fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans).

    Remuneration Package

    R 45,000 - R 65,000 per month.
