Description
Our client is looking for a suitably qualified and experience
Plant Foreman
(with experience working in a gold processing Plant) to join their dynamic team.


Duties and responsibilties

  • Manage subordinates which includes shift handovers, timesheets, log sheets, over inspections and employee relations
  • Analyse process and maintenance information
  • Plan activities in accordance with production and maintenance schedules and allocate resources as required
  • Liaise and synchronise plant maintenance schedules/activities with engineering sections
  • Continuously monitor process efficiency parameters to prevent damage and Gold losses
  • Work according to the Mines Code of Practice, and report any observations of this being done
  • Willing to work shifts, do overtime, standby and be available for call outs should the need arise

Desired experience and

  • Grade 1
  • National Diploma in Metallurgy will be advantageous
  • Minimum of 3 years Process Plant experience
  • Supervisory / Foreman or Learner Plant Foreman
  • Valid drivers license
  • Computer Literate (MS Office Suite)
