    Job Summary

    The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the restaurant/take-away, ensuring quality standards and maintaining stock control. They will also deal with customer complaints, maximize profitability, and manage staff to meet sales and GP% targets.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Oversee the overall operation of the restaurant/take-away, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and adhering to daily opening and closing procedures.
    2. Maintain quality standards of food and PEDROS Standard Operating Procedures.
    3. Manage stock control, purchasing, and orders to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.
    4. Deal with customer complaints in a timely and professional manner, ensuring customer service levels are maintained.
    5. Maximize profitability by meeting sales and GP% targets, motivating staff to achieve these goals.
    6. Manage staff effectively, including discipline and work rosters, to ensure a productive and efficient team.
    7. Work collaboratively within a team to drive the restaurant/take-away forward.
    8. Ensure marketing activities are implemented to promote the store and attract new customers.
    9. Cultivate customer service relations, handling complaints and resolving issues efficiently.
    10. Develop and implement training programs for staff development, conducting regular structured staff meetings to maintain morale and motivation.
    11. Recruit, select, train, and monitor the performance of the team to increase productivity and profitability.
    12. Evaluate staff performance regularly to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback.

    Requirements

    • At least 3 years of experience in the restaurant and fast-food industry.
    • Proficiency in GAAP and Micros is advantageous.
    • Strong management and organizational skills.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Ability to problem-solve and think critically.
