SALES MANAGER Position Wine Brands

Location:
Cape Town or Paarl but must be able to travel as required.

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic SALES MANAGER to drive the success of our renowned wineries. Eagles' Nest and Ridgeback are known for their unique qualities, awards, and commitment to producing exceptional quality wines.


Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans for Eagles' Nest and Ridgeback wineries
• Manage and grow key accounts while expanding the customer base
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create impactful sales campaigns
• Conduct regular market analysis and stay ahead of industry trends
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and retail partners
• Active engagement at local and international wine shows
• Operational and budget reporting to Head of Wines
• Daily/weekly sales administrative duties and support to the Export Coordinator
• Regular domestic and international travel to promote and support both brands

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a successful Sales Manager in the wine industry over a threetofiveyear period
• Deep knowledge and understanding of the wine market and appreciation for Eagles' Nest and Ridgeback wines.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
• Strong focus on results and maintenance of margins
• Purposedriven and a desire to be the best
• Able to work independently as well as in a team
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
• A relevant tertiary qualification in sales, marketing, or business
