Medical Aid rate based on principal member only)- To be confirmed- Advert Closing Date- 21/4/2023- Job PurposeTo support the faculty and department in pursuit of its academic and research objectives which include: teaching according to a set syllabus; undertake research and innovation; contribute to curriculum development and design; engage in work integrated learning, Open Day to recruit Students, and service learning activities.

Minimum Requirements:

Lecturer (Permanent):


  • A Master's Degree in Information Technology, Multimedia Technologies, Computer Science, Web Design and Development or Design and Digital Media
  • At least two (2) years' relevant Lecturing experience in Higher Education

Recommendations
Graphics and Video Editing Tools

New Media Development and Editing;
Web Scripting with the CSS Design Frameworks and JavaScript Ecosystem;
Web Development with JavaScript Frameworks;
User-Centered Design (UXD), Human and Computer Interaction

Knowledge of Database Design and Web Servers will be an added advantage.

Evidence of Technical portfolio on platforms like Github, Gitlab or Bitbucket will be an added advantage

  • Relevant Industry Experience
  • Exposure to Program and Curriculum Development
  • At least One (1) publication in an accredited journal or conference proceedings

  • Develop and maintain linkages with industry and professional bodies on cooperative education, new techniques/technologies and research projects
  • Assist with marketing and recruitment activities
  • Perform other functions as may be assigned by the Head of Department
