Provide information on current sales performance of department
Provide feedback to all sales executives on individual performance against target
Allow the opportunity for relevant input from sales executives
Manage stock levels and age analysis of all stock
Continuously update stock lists
Ensure accurate adherence to prescribed floor plan standards
Manage and update the Daily Operating Control sheet

Monitor collection of monies owed and floor plan settlements
Monitor all departmental sales activities
Use Training Needs Analysis to identify specific training needs for every sales executive
Prioritise training required and make the necessary booking
Complete training form feedback
Ensure briefing after training to establish competence of sales executive
Identify customer needs/trends
Understand marketing analysis/strategies
Implement relevant marketing approach in synergy with BMW SA (i.e. CI)
Ensure demonstration vehicles are fuelled by sales executives
Control the accurate 'booking-out' of demonstration vehicles going out on loan
Manage timely availability of demonstration vehicles
Ensure reporting of any possible damages to vehicles
Control all necessary maintenance on vehicles
Responsible for ordering all demonstration vehicles
Ensure timeous arrival for training courses
Ensure all pre-read work subsequent to the training course has been done
Responsible for self – development (i.e. familiar with latest competitor product information, industry tendencies etc.)
Ensure effective understanding of vehicle evaluation procedure
Complete all necessary evaluation documentation
Recruit staff, preferably via BMW SA's recommended recruitment process
Contribute to developing an enabling culture
Strive to retain talent
Develop succession plans for staff
Drive performance management
Coach and mentor junior staff
Ensure all staff are trained according to TNA
Conduct exit interviews
Acquire knowledge of Labour Relations Act
