    Logistics Manager Role

    Brief Overview:

    The Logistics Manager oversees and manages all aspects of client contract logistics operations. This includes managing inventory, forecasting, coordinating goods movement from clients to regions, monitoring stock accuracy, handling shipping and receiving, overseeing audits, reporting requirements, and ensuring compliance with relevant processes, governance, regulations, standards, and risk mitigation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and implement logistics strategies that support company goals and objectives.
    2. Optimize transportation and distribution network timelines for efficient delivery.
    3. Track shipments and orders to ensure timely delivery, maintaining accurate inventory levels in line with warehouse operations.
    4. Manage field technician vehicle inventory levels, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    5. Analyze data and trends to identify cost savings and process improvements opportunities.
    6. Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve customer satisfaction.

    Requirements:

    Tertiary Education:

    National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is required.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Certification in supply chain management or logistics is preferred.

    Experience:

    5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management is required.

    Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices, proficiency in logistics software and systems, experience in the Telecommunications Industry, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and experience in a managerial or supervisory role are essential.

    Technical/Core Training:

    Practical knowledge of Supply Chain and basic technical telecommunications knowledge are required.

    IT Training:

    MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project & MS Outlook (Intermediate skill level), SAP knowledge, and Inventory Management skills are necessary.

    Statutory Requirements:

    OHS Act, ISO 9001 Quality Management & Risk Management Systems are mandatory.
