Durban. Opportunity exists for External Sales Representative with at least 3 years relevant sales experience and excellent technical ability for spec and design. Experience in the ceiling / partitioning systems industry is essential.


Responsibilities:


  • Generate business leads relevant to the product market
  • Survey market related industry trends
  • Ensure overall end to end customer experience
  • Pricing and tendering of bill of quantity and projects
  • Facilitate onsite customer engagements and conduct site inspections
  • Recommend products to customers based on customer's needs and interest and answer customer's questions about products, prices, availability, product uses
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
  • Provide customers with product samples and catalogues
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors' products, prices and sales
  • Providing established and new clients with ongoing telephonic support

Requirements:


  • Sales and Marketing / Building / Engineering qualification
  • 3 years + customer service and sales experience in same industry essential
  • Code 8 drivers licence essential, with knowledge of surrounding areas
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
  • Elevated technical ability for spec and design
  • Ability to converse at all levels
  • Responsible attitude with good leadership abilities
  • Ability to integrate at all levels
