A wonderful family is looking for an AU PAIR for their sons in Grade 8 and Grade 6

Area:
Franschhoek

Working hours:
Monday - Friday: 07h30 - 17h00

Start date:
ASAP start - permanent contract

Duties:

Drop off and collection for school, assist with household admin in the mornings, errands for mom, assisting with household needs, shopping, homework when needed, cooking dinner and making sure everything is ready for packed lunches and breakfasts.

Occasional weekend work.

They are both high functioning on the autism spectrum, this doesn't require any specific care, other than an empathetic person who understands how sensitive and vulnerable autistic children can be, i.e.

it has to be someone with some understanding of ASD and a very big heart for two soft, but incredibly bright, young men.

They both have ADHD, but this is medicated and they are really good, kind children, they just have challenges with focus and memory at times.

Both boys also have immune deficiencies, and what that means in practice is that they can get sick more easily than other children, and when they do get sick, they are off for longer than your average child - the au pair would be needed to step in if either or both of the boys were off school sick, to look after them.

Salary:

R15 000 per month plus petrol

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

**Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

**Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

**Must have a clear criminal record

**Must have a passion for children

**Must have Matric

**Must have a South African ID document.
