    Description

    Job Summary:

    As an On Road Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers on-site, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and maintaining customer relationships. You will be required to visit customer sites regularly and will be responsible for ensuring that customers' systems and networks are running smoothly.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit customer sites to provide technical support, resolve issues and troubleshoot problems related to computer systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on customer's systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent future technical issues.
  • Conduct regular system and network assessments to identify areas of improvement and suggest necessary upgrades or replacements.
  • Install and configure computer systems, hardware, and software for customers.
  • Collaborate with other teams within the organization to ensure that customer issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies, hardware, and software to ensure the highest level of technical competence and knowledge.
  • Provide regular feedback to management on customer issues, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of customer visits, issues, and resolutions through our ticketing systems.
  • Skills and Requirements:

  • Proven experience in technical support, with a focus on computer systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software, including Windows, Mac and Linux.
  • Experience with network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical people in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and own a reliable vehicle.
