Meltwater, a leader in media monitoring, is looking for a Marketing Manager to support the development of the brand in the African market.

Then become a part of the EMEA Marketing Team at Meltwater as a Marketing Manager for Africa.

Alongside the Head of Marketing for Africa, you will be responsible for the execution of marketing campaigns to ensure the building of a strong brand through events, PR, social media, etc.


Your position


In close cooperation with your colleagues in Berlin, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Helsinki, and Dubai, you will work closely with the Head of Marketing, Africa to manage the field marketing activities across Africa.


What you will do:


  • Manage the event strategy and work with the local team on the execution of business breakfasts, webinars, conferences, summits, trade shows & digital events
  • Work closely with the inbound sales team to manage the lead funnel.
  • Drive social media engagement via LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant channels.
  • Help manage creative marketing material development.

Skills & Requirements:


What you'll bring to the table:

  • At least two years of relevant professional experience and proven success
  • A good understanding of strategies, channels, tactics & KPIs that make up the B2B marketing mix
  • Excellent organizational and project management experience
  • Experience in dealing with CRM systems, marketing automation (preferably Marketo) & ABM campaigns is an advantage.
  • Ability to achieve goals and meet deadlines
  • Passion for social media and media intelligence and the ability to quickly grasp technology concepts
  • Detailoriented and highly organized
  • Curious, proactive, and enjoys testing new things.
  • Resultsdriven with the ability to quantify performance and optimize results
  • An excellent communicator with a collaborative spirit
