    Job Position:
    Administrator / HR SupportRef: 4699Location: Berlin (outside East London)

    Salary:
    R15 000 to R19 000 per month commensurate with qualification and experienceEmail your CV to / Requirements:

    • Matric
    • MS Word and Excel computer literacy, essential
    • Ability to write routine reports, with accuracy
    • Good communication and people skills

    Exposure in:

    • HR functions
    • Weekly wage administration
    • Absenteeism reports
    • Filing systems/archiving
    • Claims and withdrawals of NBC Provident Fund claims
    • Reporting, administration
    • Follow-up and resolution of all IOD claims Key Performance Areas:
    • Be proactive in identifying HR/IR activities and under the guidance of the Manager, identifying, recording, issuing, circulating and/or filing of all these records
    • Office management and reception assistance

    Human resource functions:

    • Absenteeism: Fulfil role of frontline screener to employees with concerns, so as to understand their needs and provide the appropriate support
    • Issuing of casual contracts: Draw up and record accurate records regarding to payment options related to short-time
    • Discipline: disciplinary procedure to be carried out in line with the latest code of conduct, after consultation with the Manager
    • Ensure staff are healthy and maintain a safe working environment in conjunction with Health and Safety Policy
    • Assist with the conducting of medical tests
    • Management meetings: Act as scribe

    Wage administration:

    • Manage and control clocking systems
    • Attendance registers
    • Check and enter wage control sheet
    • Process and submit casual wages as per required process and timeline
    • Secure all personnel files

    Monthly staff:

    • Preparation of the monthly control sheet detailing, overtime, leave, sick leave, short-time, IOD etc
    • Forwarding all relevant documentation to payroll
    • Monitoring of expiry dates for contracts

    Administration:

    • Management and control of the Administration office
    • Reception
    • Ordering of stock/consumables (offices/cleaning supplies)
    • Management of petty cash
    • Ensure filing and archiving is carried out in a systematic order, with special attention to record retention requirements
    • Ensure that visitors welfare is graciously provided, including the provision of teas, coffee and refreshments. Including the preparation of the meeting room and all crockery and cutlery
    • Opening and distribution of mail
    • Distributing and resolution of important emails sent to previous mail boxes

    Safety, health and environment:

    • Assess requirements, place orders and issue PPE for all employees
    • Ensure all chemicals and/or hazardous substances are stored correctly as per safety requirements
