    Project-Based HSE Manager

    We are seeking a highly skilled Project-Based HSE Manager to execute an oil-and-gas project in Coega.

    As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring legislative compliance and achieving the business objectives of the project.

    Duties:

    • Ensure ISO- and project audit compliance
    • Maintain legal appointments, certification, and compliance
    • Conduct risk assessments and generate data books
    • Monitor adherence to systems and procedures
    • Provide support, evaluate risk performance, and reliability, and recommend corrective and preventative actions
    • Execute day-to-day HSE-related matters
    • Investigate incidents and accidents
    • Manage and coordinate inductions and toolbox talks
    • Coordinate safety meetings and OHS responsibilities
    • Liaise with departments to achieve legislative and project compliance

    Requirements:

    • Relevant safety management qualification
    • Working knowledge of OHSAS 18001 & ISO 90001 & 14001-2015
    • Minimum 5 years safety, health, and environment management experience - preferably in a ship repair/oil and gas environment where ISO practices are well entrenched
    • Sound verbal communication skills
    • Computer literacy
    • Valid driver's license

    R500,000 - R700,000 per annum
