Overview:


Barrs Pharmaceuticals Industries is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Technician/Electrician with expertise in control and instrumentation to contribute to the efficient operation of our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

As a crucial member of our operations department, the Electrical Technician will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of electrical systems and instrumentation, upholding the highest standards of quality, compliance, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical systems and instrumentation in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical components, including motors, controllers, and instrumentation devices.
  • Work as part of the maintenance and production teams to ensure optimal performance of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Execute preventive maintenance tasks to enhance system reliability and longevity.
  • Assist in the implementation of upgrades and modifications to improve electrical and instrumentation efficiency.
  • Work in the Facilities and Maintenance department to address electrical and instrumentation issues promptly.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Participate in crossfunctional teams to optimize production efficiency and quality.

Desired Experience, Qualifications, and Attributes:


  • Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of handson experience as an Electrical Technician/Electrician in pharmaceutical manufacturing, FMCG or a similar regulated industry.
  • Strong knowledge of control systems, instrumentation, and PLCs.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work shifts as and when required.

Duration:
Permanent Contract of Employment
