Overview:

Barrs Pharmaceuticals Industries is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Technician/Electrician with expertise in control and instrumentation to contribute to the efficient operation of our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

As a crucial member of our operations department, the Electrical Technician will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of electrical systems and instrumentation, upholding the highest standards of quality, compliance, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical systems and instrumentation in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical components, including motors, controllers, and instrumentation devices.
Work as part of the maintenance and production teams to ensure optimal performance of electrical and instrumentation systems.
Execute preventive maintenance tasks to enhance system reliability and longevity.
Assist in the implementation of upgrades and modifications to improve electrical and instrumentation efficiency.
Work in the Facilities and Maintenance department to address electrical and instrumentation issues promptly.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
Participate in crossfunctional teams to optimize production efficiency and quality.

Desired Experience, Qualifications, and Attributes:

Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of handson experience as an Electrical Technician/Electrician in pharmaceutical manufacturing, FMCG or a similar regulated industry.
Strong knowledge of control systems, instrumentation, and PLCs.
Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and equipment.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory compliance.
Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems.
Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work shifts as and when required.

Permanent Contract of Employment
