Underwriter Assistant
A vacancy exists for an Underwriter Assistant in the Processing Department. The position will report to the Director, Team Leader, and Underwriter.

Purpose of Job:

Perform all work relating to the processing function of insurance policies (including data capturing on in-house programme).

This includes processing of new policies, endorsements to existing policies, renewal of policies and any other processing/admin related function relating to the processing of policies.

Responsibilities will include the following, but are not limited to:

Processing of new policies
Endorsements to policies
Monthend close offs

Minimum Requirements:

Incumbent should have matric or equivalent qualification
Certificate/diploma in office administration
3 years' experience in a similar environment will be an added advantage
Knowledge of shortterm insurance will be an added advantage
Knowledge of general administration duties
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Computer literacy
