is seeking a dynamic Procurement Operations Lead to design, build, and embed a centralised procurement function at our Midrand office.
This is a high-impact, newly created leadership role reporting to the CFO—ideal for a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and wants to drive real transformation, not just manage the status quo. You'll lead the journey from a fragmented procurement landscape to a unified, best-in-class operation, delivering sustainable cost savings, operational excellence, and measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a centralised procurement model and governance framework
- Lead transformation initiatives (including Ariba implementation and productivity programs)
- Deliver strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, and commercial optimisation
- Represent Procurement internally and externally, collaborating with global and local stakeholders
- Build and lead a high-performing team, driving capability and engagement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5+ years' procurement/supply chain leadership experience, ideally in complex or regulated environments
- Proven success in procurement transformation, strategic sourcing, and supplier management
- Strong S2P process, governance, and compliance knowledge
- Excellent stakeholder management and people leadership skills
- Professional certifications (CIPS, CPSM, PMP/PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus
