    About Qetello Holdings: We are a well-established logistics company based in Durban North, specialising in providing efficient transportation and distribution services to our clients.

    Job Title: Logistics Controller

    Job Summary:

    We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Controller to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispatching vehicles and drivers, ensuring customer expectations are met, and drivers are correctly instructed to carry out successful deliveries.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Dispatching of vehicles and drivers to ensure efficient deliveries;
    • Ensure accurate and efficient entry of fleet operation activities using the company's fleet management software;
    • Compliance with statutory requirements (Hazchem, license permits, etc.) for all vehicles and drivers;
    • Daily pre-check vehicle inspections, evaluating defects, and reporting to the workshop team;
    • Tracking status updates via various communication channels;
    • Fuel Management operations and liaising with the workshop team and third-party service providers;
    • Receiving breakdown calls and informing the Workshop team accordingly;
    • Maintaining Health and Safety at Workplace;
    • Carrying out other tasks as required by the company;
    • Displaying high standards of integrity and professionalism within the winning behaviours of the organisation.

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 qualification (required);
    • 2-5 years relevant working experience in a Fleet Controller role;
    • Experience with exports and imports advantageous;
    • Computer literacy (required);
    • Advance proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets;
    • Experience with Navis and the port;
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
    • Excellent time management skills;
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
    • Excellent problem-solving skills;
