Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Showroom Consultant to promote and sell products to customers, maintaining the image and overseeing the effective operations of the showroom to meet sales targets.

Main Responsibilities:

• Advise and sell to customers in the showroom
• Handle complaints and queries from customers and sales consultants/showroom managers
• Maintain showroom standards
• Manage orders of additional products
• Coordinate deliveries
• Control and oversee stock of cuttings, samples, hangers, and books
• Coordinate events such as product launches
• Support sales consultants
• Support payment process

Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate
• Tertiary qualification in a related field is advantageous
• Fluency in English and one other South African language
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in a showroom environment
• Experience in an interior decor/design environment is advantageous
• Background in retail environment with operational aspects of a shop or outlet management is advantageous
• Proficiency in Database Management, POS Systems, Stock Control, Campaign Implementation, Branding, Report Writing, and MS Office
