- Responsible for the management, effective repair and preventative maintenance of various Plants.
- Ensuring the Plants remain fully functional minimal downtime.
- Ensure costs are effectively managed and reduced where possible through controls on maintenance expenses.
- Manage procurement functions.
- Drive improvement in all activities
- Management of Plant Staff
- Provide training to the Supervisors and Operators
- Possess relevant technical qualification at Tertiary level, a B-Tech or similar or a trade certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
- Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of thermal engineering, incineration, furnaces and/or boilers.
- Previous experience managing spares would be advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience post qualification
- Excellent computer skills
- Good problem-solving skills.

- May be required to work overtime as per operational requirements.
