Job Title:
HR Officer
Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Coordinate recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
- Facilitate new employee onboarding processes, including orientation sessions, paperwork completion, and training coordination.
Employee Relations:
- Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and professional manner.
- Promote positive employee relations through effective communication, conflict resolution, and teambuilding initiatives.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Support career development initiatives, including performance reviews and individual development plans.
Performance Management:
- Implement and manage performance appraisal processes to ensure fair and consistent evaluations.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance improvement plans and goal setting.
Policy Implementation:
- Interpret and enforce company policies and procedures in compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in developing and updating HR policies and employee handbooks as needed.
Disciplinary Procedures:
- Implement disciplinary procedures as outlined in company policies and in accordance with legal requirements.
- Conduct investigations into employee misconduct or performance issues, and recommend appropriate disciplinary actions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar role.
- Knowledge of HR functions, policies, procedures, and disciplinary processes.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in HR software and Computer Literate
- Proficiency in speaking English & Zulu
Pay:
From R10 000,00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Linbro Business Park, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Bachelors (required)
Experience:
Human Resources: 5 years (required)
Language:
- English (required)
