Deli Assistant Job Description


PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:


To control and facilitate all activities of the Deli department by implementing and monitoring quality standards and service excellence and promoting excellent customer service in order to achieve profitability.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
Grade 12 with 3 years' experience in a hospitality or retail environment
At least 1 year experience in a supervisory role
Must be Computer Literate


KEY ACOUNTABILITIES:
Stock Management and Merchandising
Pricing
Creating a trust relationship with customers and suppliers
People management and leadership
Housekeeping, Health & Safety
