    Description

    Job Opportunity: Laboratory Administrative Assistant

    • Perform daily administrative tasks on the Laboratory Information Management System (SLIMS).
    • Collect analysis worksheets from analysts daily, record analytical results, and maintain monthly tally sheets.
    • Handle sample reception and Job Sheets creation on SLIMS.
    • Validate jobs on SLIMS and coordinate with technical signatories and Quality Coordinator.
    • Adhere to quality and safety standards of the SGS management system.
    • Undertake additional assigned tasks from the line manager.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 3 years of Administrative experience.
    • Grade 12 education with Mathematics and Science background.
    • Knowledge of Laboratory operations is a plus.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SLIMS.
    • Strong Communication, Integrity, and Attention to detail.
    • Punctual, able to work under pressure, and solve problems effectively.
    • Flexible and fluent in English (spoken, written, and understood).
