Senior Architectural Technologist

We are a dynamic team at TradeOn, a KFC Franchisee with outlets across South Africa. We attribute our success to our team and now seek an equally dynamic individual to join our Development Team.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurate measurement and scoping of buildings to create drawings that meet company and franchisor specifications.
Develop creative and innovative designs with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding results.
Ensure drawings/plans comply with National Building Regulations SANS and other statutory construction requirements for retail premises.
Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
Manage constructions & signage drawing submissions for council approval nationally.
Research relevant information impacting site development (restrictions and regulations).
Manage Project Administration.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or similar tertiary qualification in Architecture and SACAP registration.
7-10 years' experience as an Architectural Technologist in a retail/QSR environment.
Proficient with REVIT LT.
Highly organized, deadline-driven, and accurate.
Project Administration and Management Skills.
Excellent Written and Communication Skills.
Knowledge of latest Council legislation, policies & procedures.
Demonstrate advanced understanding of the architectural design process and interior architecture integration.
Manage multiple projects through all phases from proposal to construction.
Strong abilities in drawing up costings, schedules, and project documentation.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for projects.
