Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team.
As the Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Food & Beverage offerings and operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing the Restaurant team hands-on and maintaining the highest standards of service, quality and ambiance.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient flow of service, accurate order taking and timely food and beverage delivery
- Manage reservations system and walkin procedures to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
- Maintain the Restaurants and all other Food & Beverage areas ambiance, cleanliness and overall aesthetic appeal
- Coordinate with Maintenance team to ensure facilities are well maintained at all times
- Collaborate with the Kitchen team to ensure consistent food quality, presentation and adherence to menu specifications.
- Lead, train and motivate the Restaurant team
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes team work, professionalism and growth
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback and implement training programs to develop and enhance staff skills
- Ensure that all guests receive highest level of personal service at all times
- Monitor service quality, address guest concerns promptly and strive for continuous improvements
- Maintain an indepth understanding of the menu, wine list, specials and assist guests with recommendations
- Daily cash up's
- Maintain and control staff cost, operating expenses, inventory and stock levels, minimising waste and breakages
- Undertakes monthly/ biweekly stock takes and regularly reviews F&B costings
- Ensure rostering and adequate staffing levels in line with business volumes
- Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
- General administrative duties
Requirements/ Experience:
- Previous experience in similar role in an upscale restaurant environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Guest and service centric approach, leads by example
- Strong leadership and people skills
- Excellent Food & Beverage knowledge
- Strong Administrative skills
- Able to work hospitality hours including weekends and public holidays
- Own vehicle and valid driver's license
