    Civil Engineer Opportunity in Northern Cape

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Resident Engineer to work on major rehabilitation projects for roads. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of road rehabilitation techniques, materials, and construction processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversight of day-to-day activities on a construction site
    • Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
    • Contract administration, quality control, and health & safety management on road projects
    • Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
    • Pr. Eng or Pr. Tech status registered with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa)
    • 5-10 years of experience working on major rehabilitation projects for roads

    • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Highly organised with strong time management abilities
    • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to address and resolve site challenges
