SPA RECEPTIONIST - Back-up skills include Beauty/Hair

HOEDSPRUIT- Limpopo (South Africa)

START: June 2024 (for training & induction)

REPORT TO: Spa Manager

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday - Sunday 08:00 - 20:00* (*subject to change based on operational needs)
• 45 hours worked per week
• Shifts will apply + days off each week
• Hospitality environment - trading all public holidays

PACKAGE POTENTIAL & BENEFITS:

• R8,500-00 per month Gross Salary
• 10% Services Commission earned after working back 50% of Basic Salary
• 10% Retail Commission earned
• Staff meal on duty
• Medical aid contribution (Discovery / single application status only)
• Provident Fund contribution

QUALIFICATIONS | SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

1. Qualification from a recognized Beauty Training facility with qualifications in either Spa / Beauty / Cosmetology / Holistic Massage / Nail Technology
2. City & Guilds / ITEC / CIDESCO / CIBTAC / SAAHSP etc.
3. BONUS - Secretarial or Administrative qualification
4. At least 2 years spa industry experience post-graduation (not student hours)
5. Reception experience working in either a Hotel, Hotel Spa, Day Spa or a busy Salon
6. Cruise ship employment experience highly beneficial
7. Ability to pleasantly and confidently communicate in English with attention to detail in communication (verbal & electronic)
8. Afrikaans language - bonus
9. Spa software experience is required (ESP / Chidesk / My Appointment / Fresha etc.)
10. Ability to give timely and excellent services at all time
11. Ability to correctly capture information, payments or any other administrative duties assigned to you
12. Knowledge of spa procedures and trends
13. Ability to focus attention on guest needs
14. Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the Spa
15. Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
16. Knowledge of and ability to sell spa products
