JOB DESCRIPTION
The Yard Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all staff have the equipment to do the tasks set out, ensuring machinery and equipment is in good working order and are maintained as per maintenance schedules, training of staff in the baling machine and general Non ferrous yard, ensure the department meet targets set out, ensure the trucks are loaded as planned for the day and make sure that the targets for loading trucks is met as set out per order, ensure that department is compliant to the health and safety standards of the company.
QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Flexible and willing to work overtime.
- Supervisory Experience
- 3 years' experience in production, heavy engineering or mining environment.
- Ability to work quickly and under pressure
- Knowledge of Non-Ferrous.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
