An excellent opportunity has become available within the Energy industry for a PV Service Manager, based in Bellville, Cape Town.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication (English)
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional organizer with high attention to detail
- Selfstarter who works well under pressure
- A top achiever
- Solar related or electrical engineering inclination advantageous
- 1+ years' relevant work experience in PV Industry
Responsibilities:
- Daily monitor of solar PV plants to ensure maximum uptime and production from solar PV plants
- React, investigate and escalate portal alarms
- Optimization of PV plants
- Research best practice and new methods and technologies in PV and O&M space including infrastructure for data and software
- Reporting
- Performance and issue/event reports
- Monthly reporting (Quality, progress and distribution)
- Execution of field teams to maintenance projects
- Schedule, close and archiving of field service jobs
- Plan scheduled maintenance and cleaning jobs
- Manage handover from design to O&M
- Quality control for production invoices to customers
- Provide support and guidance to field personnel
- Manage clients and build long term relationships
