Boilermaker Position in Manufacturing Industry

We are seeking a qualified boilermaker to join our client's team on a contract basis in the manufacturing industry.

• Residency: The candidate must reside in Krugersdorp, Gauteng.
• Qualification: A red seal certification as a boilermaker is required.
• Tools and Safety Gear: The candidate must have their own toolbox and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work Experience: At least 3 years of work experience as a boilermaker is necessary.

About the Role

The boilermaker will be responsible for various tasks including fabrication, assembly, maintenance, and repair of boilers and other pressure vessels.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, be able to work independently, and collaborate with other professionals as part of a team.

Responsibilities

1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on boilers and other pressure vessels.
2. Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all work meets the required standards.
3. Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex issues.
4. Develop and implement safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
5. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Be a qualified boilermaker with a red seal certification.
• Have at least 3 years of work experience as a boilermaker.
• Reside in Krugersdorp, Gauteng.
• Have a reliable means of transportation.
