We are a Company based in Jacobs, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, looking for a meticulous, organized, and computer literate Internal auditor with excellent English language skills.


Salary:

Duties & Responsibilities

Internal Audit:


  • Documentation of internal processes
  • Identification of operational weakness and recommendation to improve
  • Producing and communicating audit reports to management
  • Objectively review organization business processes and procedures
  • Performing the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations effectiveness and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
  • Determining internal audit scope and developing annual audit plans
  • Act as an objective source of independent recommendation to ensure company objectives shall be accomplished
  • Conduct follow up audits to monitor management interventions and control measures
  • Assistance with wide range of activities including client delivery and project administration under the direction of the management team
  • Professional integrity and high performing team player who can work autonomously, remains accountable and contributes to a positive and cohesive team environment.
  • Workflow optimization: to assist in adding value to production workflow
  • Establish departmental audit criterias

Compliance

  • Implement and maintain an effective legal compliance system
  • Develop and maintain company documents, policies and procedures
  • Advise on the company's compliance with laws and regulations
  • Create action plans in response to audit findings and non compliance
  • Planning, establishing, documenting and communicating company risk assessments
  • Liaise with external auditors/consultants regarding compliance
  • Implement and maintain all documentation relating to the Department of Health, Department of Labour, Fire Department and SABS
  • Ensure that all compliance certificates/documentation are current
  • Application for update/new certification
  • All filing to be up to date (compliance docs)
  • Continuous monitoring of production non conformances, ensuring further investigation, communication and implementation of control measures.
  • Maintaining records/ documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received or investigation outcomes

Qualification and Experience

  • Internal audit or equivalent qualification
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of risk and control
  • Experience in lubricating manufacturing entity
  • Computer literate:
