KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Stakeholder Relations:
Build and maintain trust relationships internally and externally to the business (relationship building); Ensure all customer activity is recorded on the company CRM system and logs are kept up to date at all times; Identify areas for improvement in managing customer demands to ensure maximum satisfaction, and to maintain quality over quantity; Intervene when necessary to aid the group in resolving issues; Identify procedures, systems and tools that facilitate work efficiencies; Work as part of the team to share ideas and improve operation, contribute to new business initiatives and projects; Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with technical department; Ensure effective relationships with Customer businesses through maintaining an appropriate interface between the technical department, Suppliers and Customers; Facilitate and encourage effective intra
- and cross-departmental interaction.


Technical Support Level 2 Tasks:

Resolve technical customer issues, inquiries and complaints, manage communications and implement corrective action plans; Work according to business procedures, completing tasks efficiently and effectively; Provide training and mentorship to team members for continuous improvement and development; Handle escalated issues by utilising problem-solving skills and communication skills to effectively resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner; Resolve all client issues courteously and in a timely manner; Liaise with relevant departments regarding technical product issues; Intervene when necessary to aid the group in resolving issues; Liaise with suppliers on general or escalated issues which affect our products and customers.


Other Responsibilities:

Carry out product testing as required by the business; Advise on new products that could be introduced to the portfolio; Add to technical support document so repeating issues can be solved quickly by Level 1 support.


Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Two to three years' experience as technical support in the renewable energy sector (including commissioning experience)OR...

Two to three years installation experience (including commissioning); Electrical/Electronic engineering diploma or degree advantageous (or electrician certification); Experience with DEYE/Sunsynk advantageous; Available to attend to onsite customer support when required.
