    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced banking professional with a strong background in fraud detection and anti-money laundering to join our Johannesburg team on a six-month contract.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Assess complex financial matters and take decisive action to prevent fraud and money laundering.
    2. Develop and implement effective strategies to block suspicious accounts and secure funds.
    3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks.
    4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
    5. Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to resolve issues efficiently.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum Matric qualification.
    • At least 2-3 years' experience in banking or back-office financial services, with a focus on fraud prevention.
    • Strong understanding of money laundering techniques and regulations.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Criminal, credit, and reference checks will be conducted.
